Technology Small Business Owner
or Potential Start-Up
A technology small business can be an individual or a business with typically 500 or fewer employees. MTIP provides guidance to established firms and potential start-ups who have not yet established a small business.

Small Business Service Provider
A service provider is an entity that provides services to other entities. In economic development, this can be a consultant, government organization, non-profit or a private firm that offers a service that enhances the operations of a small business.
